Welcome to the Sam Houston Equestrian Center !

We are a full service equestrian facility. We offer year-round lessons for riders of all levels and ages. We also offer camps for children and teenagers during school holidays. You do not need to own a horse, a saddle or anything beyond jeans and boots. Our lesson horses and ponies include seasoned veterans for beginners and a wide range of high quality mounts for experienced riders. If you own a horse, we offer boarding as well as training services.

Our stables are located on 25 acres just 15 minutes south of downtown Houston on 288 near Beltway 8. Our facilities include a spacious covered arena so you do not have to worry about the weather. Attached to the arena is a large camper classroom. We also create gift certificates if you're looking for that perfect present for a rider.

Our new instructor is Harper. She's been working with the campers and is accomplished in both English, jumping and western. Harper is from the Midwest and worked as a trail ride leader in National parks. She studied English riding in Arizona. Our plan here is to work some of the other jumping horses and train the younger ponies.

SCHOOL TOURS

School administrators can schedule a tour of Sam Houston Equestrian Center by calling
